CBD Product Range

CBD is gaining momentum in the health and wellness world with users reporting that it helps a variety of ailments. CBD stands for cannabidiol, which is one of the natural chemical compounds found in the cannabis plant.

CBD oil is made by extracting CBD from the cannabis plant and diluting it with a carrier oil.

You will not get ‘high’ from using CBD as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC); the main psychoactive compound; is not present in CBD. Though there is much to be learned about the use of CBD, results from recent studies suggest that CBD may provide a safe, powerful natural treatment for many health issues.

How do I use CBD?

CBD Oil is available in many forms:

  • Oil which is dropped under the tongue and held for approximately 90 seconds before swallowing

  • Gel and Powder Capsules which are taken orally

  • Vape liquid which is inhaled

How much do I need?

There are different doses of CBD oil and this can sometimes be confusing. The main advice is to start low and build up.

How long does it take to have an effect?

Chemically, the effects take around 30 minutes. However, the results can often be subtle and manifest over time. Cannabinoids gradually balance and normalise the body so it’s likely that you will find increasing improvements as you continue using the product.

Can I get addicted to CBD oil?

As the THC, the compound that gives the feeling of being ‘high,’ is negligible within the oil, the chances of getting addicted are almost impossible.

Can I take CBD with other medications?

As with all food supplements, if you are taking other medication, we recommend that you speak with your doctor before commencing CBD.

Can CBD be used for children?

CBD should only be used in adults over the age of 18.
