Bladder Weakness Treatment

A solution for urinary incontinence, recovery after childbirth, and improvement in quality of life.

About The Treatment

It is thought that more than 7 million people suffer with urinary incontinence in the UK. Physiological changes can contribute to the development of urinary incontinence; changes such as vaginal delivery, menopause, and ageing can decondition pelvic floor muscles. It is often an embarrassing and hidden problem - but it doesn't have to be!

Emsella is a great option for men and women of any age who desire a solution for urinary incontinence, recovery after childbirth, and improvement in their quality of life.

Scientific research has shown that 95% of treated patients reported significant improvement in their quality of life.

The pelvic floor muscles are the layer of muscles that support the pelvic organs and span the bottom of the pelvis. Strong pelvic floor muscles gives you control over your bladder and bowel. Weakened pelvic floor muscles mean your internal organs are not fully supported and you may have difficulty controlling the release of urine.

Emsella treatment uses high intensity focused electromagnetic energy to deliver thousands of supra-maximal pelvic floor muscle contractions in a single session. These contractions re-educate the muscles of incontinent patients.

Before any treatment can be suggested, you will require a consultation to ascertain your concerns, medical history and suitability.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

Emsella treatment uses high intensity focused electromagnetic energy to deliver thousands of supra-maximal pelvic floor muscle contractions in a single session. These contractions re-educate the muscles of incontinent patients.

Each session is equivalent to doing 11,000 Kegel (pelvic floor) exercises - without the hard work!

What does the treatment involve?
An Emsella course consists of 6 sessions, scheduled twice a week. Each session takes about 30 minutes. You sit fully clothed on the Emsella chair for the length of the session.

What Does it Feel Like?
You will experience tingling and pelvic floor muscle contractions during the procedure. You may resume daily activities immediately after the treatment.

How fast will I see results?

After Emsella treatment, you may be less likely to lose sleep over frequent trips to the bathroom, and sneezing or laughing may not be your biggest nightmare anymore.

Will I have to change my plans for the day?
No - Emsella is a walk-in walk-out treatment, there is no downtime and you can continue your day as normal.

We recommend a review 3 months after your course of treatment to check up on your progress.

How much does it cost?
The course of 6 sessions is £800 in total.

"My quality of life is so much better. I no longer have to get up two or three, sometimes four times a night, I'm sleeping much better. I no longer have to take spare clothes with me, just in case. I felt a great improvement even after my first session and it's just got better and better.

Thank you."
