Skin Peels

A skin peel involves the use of a chemical solution that improves the skin by removing the top damaged layers, promoting the production of elastin and collagen and new skin formation. They are most commonly used on the face but can be used to improve the skin on other areas such as back and decolletage.

A chemical peel is most effective when used in conjunction with the correct skin care regime and may require more than one treatment to give optimal results.

It can be used to improve

  • Acne or acne scars

  • Age and liver spots

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Freckles

  • Irregular skin pigmentation

  • Rough skin and scaly patches

  • Scars

  • Sun damaged skin

There are a variety of chemical peels that can be used. These can have an effect on anything from the very surface of the skin to the deep layers.

Before this treatment can be given you will require a consultation to ascertain your medical history and suitability for treatment. Vicki will suggest the optimal peel during your consultation which will be dependent on your needs.
